Susan Weaver Jones is an educator and author with K-8 experience and extensive background in literacy. She has worked as a classroom teacher, a Reading Recovery teacher, a reading specialist, a literacy coach, and a reading textbook editor. She currently serves as an elementary ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher.

In addition to three early readers published in the Kaleidoscope Collection by Hameray Publishing, Ms. Weaver Jones has also contributed to a teacher blog sponsored by Hameray. She has another guided reading book, Party Time!, published as a KEEP Book by The Ohio State University.  She has a Teachers Pay Teachers online store, as well.

In June 2012, she had the privilege of participating in Writing from the Heart, a week-long Highlights Foundation Workshop. She returned in June 2017 for another worthwhile and informative workshop on Writing for the Educational Market. In addition, over the last few years, she’s also enjoyed attending the Fall Conference of the Midsouth SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators).

Susan Weaver Jones es una educadora y autora con experiencia K-8 y extensa experiencia en alfabetización. Ha trabajado como maestra de aula, maestra de Recuperación de Lectura, especialista en lectura, entrenadora de alfabetización y redactora de libros de texto. Actualmente se desempeña como profesora de ESL (Inglés como Segundo Idioma).
