My announcement about the 2015 Joy Cowley Classroom Giveaway was unexpectedly delayed on this blog due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances.  However, I have good news:  If you are just now learning about the contest, you still have a limited window of time in which to participate!  In fact, you have two opportunities to win!

Introducing Mr. Tang!

If you are already familiar with Joy Cowley’s books, then you are well-acquainted with favorite characters such as Mrs. Wishy-Washy, the Hungry Giant, the Meanies, Dan the Flying Man, and many more.  To add to the fun, Joy has introduced new characters through additional series that students will look forward to reading!

One of my new favorites is Mr. Tang!  Imagine, if you will, a James Bond type of character, complete with a confident smile, engaging personality, and a dapper bow tie.  Now, put him in the driver’s seat of a versatile yellow taxi cab that rivals the Magic School Bus.  When students climb into the backseat of Mr. Tang’s taxi, they never know what kind of adventure they’re going to experience!  Mr. Tang and his taxi always manage to escape just in time from exciting pursuits that suddenly turn dangerous.  At the end of each story about Mr. Tang’s taxi, the students are left wondering where their next trip will take them!
